SAVE SAFETY NETS
Did you know that access to 750 physicians treating Medicaid patients in Chicago’s urban neighborhoods is at risk? As our state seeks to balance its budget, drastic changes to Medicaid are up for discussion. No question we can and should do better. But one thing is for certain: We need to reform Medicaid the right way, not by balancing the budget on the backs of its neediest residents.
