DEFORMITY CORRECTION CENTER

A New Generation Of Patient Care Has Begun

Introducing The Deformity Correction Center at Saint Anthony Hospital. A center for the treatment of complex congenital or acquired foot and ankle conditions in adults and children, providing excellent patient care and comfort by focusing on speed to mobility through minimally invasive techniques.

The Deformity Correction Center is dedicated to providing the best possible care by using leading techniques in foot and ankle reconstruction such as the Ilizarov technique.

All patients treated at The Deformity Correction Center are referred back to their physician to ensure continuation of treatment and a successful outcome. All insured and non-insured patients are welcomed to our Center.

Deformity Reconstruction & Correction Is Our Primary Focus

Under the direction of Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez, the Deformity Correction Center of Saint Anthony Hospital specializes in reconstructive orthopedic foot and ankle surgery as well as complex foot and ankle conditions such as charcot joints and post-traumatic injuries.

Positive Patient Outcomes Are Our Primary Goal

We achieve this through quality care from highly trained physicians that implement minimally invasive reconstruction techniques. This provides earlier patient mobility and better post-operative care.

Our areas of focus include acute trauma, sports-related injuries, orthopedic proceedures as well as adult and pediatric deformity correction of the lower extremities. We routinely treat patients for: metatarsus adductus (foot/metatarsal deviations), calcaneo valgus deformity (severely pronated foot and/or ankle), and post-traumatic disorders such as arthritic joints caused by fractures or injuries.

Pediatric Deformity Correction: Clubfoot & Equinus

The Deformity Correction Center also provides pediatric treatments for clubfoot, equinus and other congenital deformities. Minimally invasive procedures such as the Ponseti technique provides patients with better results when compared to conventional methods of treatment. Our entire staff is trained in the treatment of clubfoot, calcaneo valgus and spastic conditions of the foot and lower leg. Our experience with external ring fixators has proved to be effective for initial reconstructive and corrective proceedures.

Corrective surgery and external fixation techniques obtain maximum results with minimally invasive surgical intervention. The result is better post-operative management of the deformity.
